Ben Rew, a Seattle transplant from Madrid, Spain, arrived in Seattle at 16, freshly disowned by his spanish family for wanting to play rock music and take drugs according to his parents. After 2 months in dismal SeaTac, Ben found his way to the Monastery, Scoochies, City Beat, Club Broadway, The Vogue, Squid Row, The Comet, and so on, Seattle took off and so did Ben. After doing time managing small bands, namely seattle stalwarts TAD (in the inbetween of their agencies and managers), Sister Psychic, Sugarfoot, Phat Kid (members of Sir Mix A Lot and Christ On A Crutch) BLAND (Featuring a yet undiscovered drummer Codi Willis) and essentially selling weed and working as either a stage hand or a glass blower at the glass eye in Ballard, Ben met Aaron from the 3B tavern in Bellingham, and started booking Seattle and touring bands there, , with the encouragement of Aaron Roeder, owner of the 3B and drummer for the Mono Men. After a few years of that, Ben formed CAMAROSMITH, with a friend Pat he had met in a 12 step meeting, and Jeff Matz from now High On Fire. Their self release went amazing and they toured the world and USA relentlessly, while Ben was running Dead Teenager Records, where he released and re-joined ZEKE (Donny the Zeke drummer ended up playing drums for Camarosmith and was an initial partner in the label), CAMAROSMITH, Flamethrower, SPEEDEALER (Formerly REO), Voodoo Organist, Players Club (formerly JJ Paradise Players Club, members of UNSANE, Glazed Baby and Shiner), Filthy Jim (Kentucky), HONKY (Featuring JD Pinkus (Butthole Surfers, Melvins) and Bobby Langratf (Superjoint Ritual), AIDEN (First record, same that went on to Victory Records). Later Ben formed HOOF with Tad Doyle (TAD) and Josh Sinder (The Accused, TAD, Gruntruck), which got offered a deal but one love changed that, so Ben formed The Cute Lepers with Steve Ross from The Briefs, Kicks from the Briefs, Zack from The Girls and Josh from the Spitz. He did one US tour and realized a punk tour wasnt for him, and moved to LA in 2008, where he ran music department of VAS/Video Action Sports, the famous skate/snowboard/extreme sports movie distribution company (we broke MGMT! Ick), where he started doing music supervision, all the way up to suprvising shows on HULU, then went and changed industries after some health issues, moved back to Seattle, where he rejoined one of his closest friends, and a company he helped set up and name, GreedTone Audio, where him and Greg now work on their line of pedals and amplifiers, known as the WORLDS LOUDEST PEDALS.
